• A short getaway trip. Plan a trip for a few days to get away. This is a gift you can both enjoy.
• Tickets to a show or concert if available or if she likes sports to a a game.
• A special item she may want but has not gotten like a certain piece of art, music, movie,a new computer ot laptop.
• Food. Take her to a special restaurant that specializes in her favorite food. create a gift basket with some of her favorite cheeses, teas, coffees, candies and cakes.

Remember I said you would need a card. Some of the gifts may only be tickets or a gift certificate of what is to come. Placing this in the card will certainly create an element of surprise when she opens that card. You may also want to get a floral arrangement from your local market. They are low cost, you can pick and choose and the quality and freshness is always good. Just get them home and in a vase before your wife or girl friend gets there. Remember the flowers have to get into water ASAP. Cut the bottoms so they can begin to drink water and add the chemical packet so they remain fresh.
